Andrew Van Horn

Andrew Van Horn is a postdoctoral researcher for the Human Generosity Project working in Dr. Cronk’s lab. His current project examines mutual aid in the United States, particularly through formal aid organizations such as healthcare ministries and disaster relief groups. Andrew received his PhD from Temple University, where his dissertation work focused on the evolution of sexual dichromatism in primates. Prior to joining the Human Generosity Project, he was a postdoctoral fellow in the Mathematical Biology Group at the University of Houston, studying the evolution of visual order and informational content in indigenous artworks.
