Diego is a graduate student researcher in the Cooperation and Conflict Lab at Arizona State University. He obtained his bachelor’s degrees in psychology and evolutionary anthropology from the University of New Mexico. Informed by evolutionary theories, his work focuses on empathy and prosociality, and the impact prosocial behaviors have on people’s ability to manage risks posed by the environment.
